About

This blog was mainly created to fulfill my curiosity on web-blogging and all its features. What I include in my posts are things that picture the way I perceive the world and its attributes. Most of the photos added to enhance my posts are adapted by internet searching. If the legal owner of a photo feels offended or doesn't wish me to use his/her photo, please feel free to contact me and I will remove it immediately. My primary goal is to express the meaning of things as I sense it and not to take advantage of others work and creativity. Thank you for joining...hope you like it.....

Etsy-Eco Shag

Eco Shag is a shop at etsy.com, which produces handmade eco-chic wear. Of course, it is one of my favorites.

Tania from Los Angeles, is the one woman show behind this brand. She is an eco-conscious designer, fabric sculptor and lover of all things upcycled, recycled, repurposed or organic. Moreover she is Inspired by eras gone by and mostly influenced by the mod styles of the 1980’s and the funky colors/textures of the 1970’s.

All the materials used in her designing proposals are eco-friendly and they are addressed both to female and male persons. What is important to know when visiting this shop, is that when someone conducts a purchase of one of her items, he/she also contributes to two non-profit organizations, "The National Tumor Society" and the "Make A Wish Foundation". You get the chance to enhance your total outfit with a "touch" of her colorful designs.

I have attached below some of her scarves, scarf necklaces and fabric bracelets, for you to have a taste....

Shoe Storage Bags

Yesterday I decided to organize my wardrobe. While doing some web searching i found these cute shoe bags that will help me pack my shoes and finally see them in pairs ;-), and also give a style in my wardrobe. You may choose to buy ready-made patterns or apply personalized prints to boost your set up. I have uploaded some designs I found at:http://www.notonthehighstreet.com

This wonderful e-commerce site offers you unique and charming designs, carefully-made things that you sometimes stumble across in cool urban markets, village fairs and tucked-away boutiques. It represents a place that is quick and easy to get to, where shopping is simple and fun, and where you can always find the most inspirational and wonderful things.

Etsy-Sarah

Today i will dedicate my post at Sarah. She is a British woman, who has spent most of her adult life living in Greece with her husband and her 3 children. What she attempts to do  through her etsy shop is combine her love of craftwork and handmade with the production of ecologically pieces.

Therefore she uses recycled, craft papers and card stock and turns them into new useful products that can perfectly picture and decorate various items. Her craft work is mainly concentrated in designing polymer stamps and providing ink pads to accompany her items and ideas.

I have uploaded below some of her craft work for you to see. You may reach her shop at : ahueofduckeggblue

Etsy- Seelamade

Another one of my favorite shops that can be found at www.etsy.com is named "Seelamade". Katyie Yost from Dayton, Ohio (US) is the host of this shop. She loves making items from re-purposed vintage materials. What she does is finding old and vintage items and turns them into new useful and decorative items. I was surprised by her tier desk supply organizers that can be used in several ways. Someone can organize his/her knitting stuff, vegetables or fruits, cookies, cupcakes, cakes. I have taken some photos of her shop and uploaded for you to get acquainted with her ideas. Hope you like it as much as i do.

If someone wishes to review more from her artistic items or even buy any of them you might want to visit her shop at etsy.com , Seelamade

Six D.o.g.s Project

six d.o.g.s is a day & night cultural entertainment center at the heart of Athens (Monastiraki), which organically combines each one of its elements: a Project Space (non-profit space for presenting visual art projects and other likewise one-off events), a Bar, a Café, a Gig Space for hosting live gigs, theatrical performances, bazaars, workshops, talks, screenings, and educational programs, and a vivid 600m2 Back-Garden. six d.o.g.s is not introduced as a new space, but rather, as a new model for a space. It is suggested as a space which aims at creating a high-profile dynamic nucleus of cross-genre activities right in the heart of the Historic Center, initialized by an equally dynamic experienced group of young art professionals, aiming at being both avant-garde and pop, sharing similar qualities. It is open from 10 in the morning till late in the night, daily, serving a wide range of local goodies, special cocktails, and home-made delights, all in a price-friendly package. One of the most dynamic Athens-based architectural offices has re-designed the whole space, Point Supreme Architects (http://www.pointsupreme.com/). The conversion occurred with the minimum of means and no additions, using smart low-budget ideas, re-using items already in the spaces before their conversion.

Dada in Buenos Aires

Probably one of the city's most frequently recommended restaurants, and a lovely bar in its own right too, Dadá tops the top-ten lists in editorials around the world, is cited again and again by locals as their favourite meeting spot, and is often c hosen by ourstaff members for a bite and a pint afterwork. Inside this tiny, cheerful space, owner Paulo and his family weave their magic, managing to both charm and serve clients with a menu that's as colourful and imaginative as the lighting and furnishings that adorn the restaurant. The chalkboard regularly changes; but it's the classics like the lomo Dadá, the ojo de bife (ribeye steak),the salmon with polenta and the deliciously savoury houmous and guacamole dips that continue to stand out. Chilled lagers, good cocktails and a fine boutique wine list (look out for bodegas Ruca Malen and Benegas) complete a very pretty picture.

Lunch at Makrygianni...

Today it's Sunday and the weather is perfect...for this reason i decided to visit one of the famous areas in Athens-Makrygianni...

This area is located at the heart of Athens, literally under the Acropolis, behind the new-built museum.

There, at Porinou 2, lies one of the most cute and delicious small Italian restaurants "Al Oglio Al Pepeconcino"
