About

This blog was mainly created to fulfill my curiosity on web-blogging and all its features. What I include in my posts are things that picture the way I perceive the world and its attributes. Most of the photos added to enhance my posts are adapted by internet searching. If the legal owner of a photo feels offended or doesn't wish me to use his/her photo, please feel free to contact me and I will remove it immediately. My primary goal is to express the meaning of things as I sense it and not to take advantage of others work and creativity. Thank you for joining...hope you like it.....

Bike Festival 16-18 Technopolis, Gazi

Following the successful organisation of the first Bike Festival last year during the European Mobility Week, it became evident that Athens is a city with a growing cycling culture and that an annual cycling festival in the heart of the city is a must for the increasing number of cyclists.
This year, the Athens Bike Festival will take place from 16 to 18 September in «Technopolis», an industrial museum of incomparable architecture that has been transformed into a multipurpose cultural space whose special atmosphere charmed the festival’s visitors last year as well.
The event will be organised during the European Mobility Week – an awareness raising campaign aiming at sensibilising citizens to the use of public transport, cycling, walking and at encouraging European cities to promote these modes of transport. In 2011, the European Mobility Week focuses on alternative mobility and wants to support the transition towards a resource-efficient transport system by promoting clean, fuel efficient modes and human-powered travel.
Organisers aim at offering visitors the opportunity to see and test the latest bike models, to discuss with the market experts and to experience an alternative lifestyle through the parallel activities that will present a different and active culture worth discovering.
All the major brands of the cycling market are expected to participate in the exhibition part of the Festival making the most of the opportunity to have direct contact with the end consumers.

Puppies Park is a new place of playing, socialization, swimming and training in Maroussi Attica. This innovative area was created in order to cover the needs of both our beloved tetrapod friends and their owners. In our specially modified park, puppies and adult dogs can play, swim, make new friends and safely exercise under the supervision of our experienced personnel.
Having previous dog training experience since 1992, Giannis Apokotos and Stefanos Milonas, continue facing the daily challenges of a smooth cohabitation and the proper personality growth of our tetrapod friends.
In this effort for correct socialization, which is the basic element for each dog’s character development, the team has further advanced and has created Puppies Park, the first entertaining place for puppies and adult dogs.
